The busyness continues...

...and it continues with good stuff, fun stuff, and getting ready for Christmas stuff.

A few examples:
We got our tree at Stoney Ridge...careful consideration going on here...

Randy loves to run the shaker thing...

I tried to get smooch from Moses, the camel, but we were just a little too far apart.
I think we broke a number of rules while we were at Stoney Ridge...I don't think you're supposed to bug the camel, or run the shaker thing yourself...At least Jess behaved.

I got up early to watch Cait and her co-workers do the Jingle Bell Run. Don't they look great?!

Loved their "boots"! And, no -- they didn't make their costumes...Had to answer that one approximately 307 times...

Caitlin, Lisa, Carol...ready to GO!

I got a little distracted with all the cute doggies around there...Can't remember this boxer's name, but her owners noted that she must know I have a boxer as she responded so sweetly to me...Awww...

Angus, the 9 mo. old bulldog, waited patiently...

Apparently it's true that you can't have just one pug...

See Mr. Mondo, the Great Dane, in there? Wow!

This little gal was SO happy!

What???
Yes, even pigs support the Jingle Bell Run...

And this is the finish line...the correct finish line...
Uh -- Dickson Medical Clinic's support team (me, the Doc, and Mike) were not present at this one when the girls made their triumphant finish...
Bad support team!! We were in the wrong place at the right time...nuff said, right guys?!
We'll do better next time! Thankfully, the girls still let us come to breakfast with them at Skylark's afterward.
A fun start to a December Saturday!

Colby and Brielle came to visit again...
Love the two-year-old cheesy face for pictures!

Miss Brielle was Uncle Ran's little buddy...
She was a little scared of Daisie for the first time, so she felt really safe on Uncle's lap.
By the end of the day, she and Daisie were friends again...

Colby was busy with the little tractors and implements all day.
"Pow hay!" which being intrepreted means: Plow hay -- and: "Aunt Les please fix this blasted plow that keeps coming apart! How's a guy supposed to get any work done!"

Colby was protective of his little sister, and would ask Daisie: "Pees, ni-ni dog?"
Which being interpreted means, "Please go to bed, dog."
Oh, those precious, precious kids!!

In other news: The Alien has landed!
Actually, this is the new weather station...so fancy and scientific looking!
I'm excited! It came just in time to record the 2.4 inches of rain we had 2 Sundays ago...The rain that almost flooded Dillon and Tiff's place (it came close!), and closed some roads. Now we can always tell you the temp, the wind chill, the rainfall -- daily, monthly, yearly, the humidity -- and all kinds of other details I don't understand. I love this thing!

Other activities have included shopping and baking and wrapping and now it's The Big Week!

And it seems like it's going to be over too soon, as usual.

I'm going to do my best to enjoy every minute of it!
