Okay...something funny is going on here...

...and I don't like it!
Most of my tulips -- and okay, I only have about six of them -- look like this...

Somebody (or maybe somebunny) just came up and snipped the stem in half, and the poor tulip is upside down...But tulips, being the only flower I know of that grows after you cut it, are still being tulips, and the cups of the flowers just keep getting larger...

...and prettier? Well, except for the upside down part...

Whatever critter did this, please know that I would prefer you eat the flower than engage in this spiteful, and senseless destruction!

And if it is you, Brown Bunny, be on notice that next time you are in the yard, I will point you out to Daisie...

There, that should do it!

I don't want to point fingers but it does seem that most trouble comes from Olive... just sayin'.

On blogs I find it hard to not "like" comments but I really, really like Tami's comment! haha

Your tulips are unique...maybe brown bunny wants you to embrace different! Maybe just thank brown bunny...just an idea!

Tami -- Hmmmm,I will take that under advisement, and do a little reconnaisance (sp?)...There is still one tulip that is untouched.

Jerrie -- I do always like to be a little different in the decorating dept... Good idea!

My guess is that it's squirrels. They pull the shoots of the rhodies down, breaking them off in the process, and then lick/suck the water/moisture or whatever. They are a real annoying nuisance - cute, but mostly not-so-cute!
